1-08-05 Trip to Sennetere

Glenn Stahl and Brian Koplovsky view the mountains from an area in St Zenon the day before we started our trip, Ate at Real Masse that evening, Awesome-Best food in ST Zenon. Some Info on ST Zenon, There are the workings of a new trail from Centerville St Zenon to the Cabanon but it Needs snow badly, it uses the road for a way and I think that there are a lot of complaints from homeowners on the way, there are police on sleds in this road so be careful and ride slow or they will get you, it is in beginning stages and is very rough, the RVR is closed down and no gas available, But the small gas station up the street is open and the trail is well marked.

Headed out from St Zenon Sunday the 9th and rode to  Kanawata via Lac Du Repos, The trail To repo was fresh groomed and in very good shape, the Repo trail is now groomed by the Repo Club and you will not get any good info on its condition at any local St Zenon Hotel but they will be grooming it regularly as well as the Manawan trail.

Brian Makes a new friend at Repo's, he was having a hard time finding someone to tell his trail stories to, The wolverine was more than happy to listen and was all ears.

The trail past Lac Chateauvert to Kanawata was also in excellent condition, I spoke with James Jameson whom has been riding in the north since before Christmas and he has told me that all trails in Val Dor area as well as Lac St Jean are all in great condition and have plenty of snow.

Kanawata, an Excellent place to stay, they have great food and are very friendly.

Mario and Celine along with the Chef whom makes some tasty treats.

Club Halterparche a perfect example of the huge snowfall in the north,

Fresh snow on a groomed trail makes for a nice ride to Clova.

Ballbuzard Sauvage Has more than enough Snow as well and The trails are good.

All said the trails from St Zenon to the Area of Val Dor are in full operation and in good shape.
