1-19-04 Trip from St Zenon To Val Dor

Pyro Dave and Steve left St Zenon on 1-19-04 and traveled to Repo the trail was fresh groomed, Once we reached the intersection to Lac Chateauvert we found that the trail was closed with trees down, we busted our way through and found out that they were running the road from Repo to Chateauvert.

Chateauvert to Casey was good but from 10 miles north of Casey you need to take the road to Club Halterparche, Then the road from Halterparche all the way to Clova, Fresh snow made the road great.

Left Clova on the 20th and rode to Sennetere the first 15 miles is plowed and after that the trail was good.

Balbuzard Sauvage is 395 miles from St Zenon and can be done in 1 day if you like torture, But it is worth it, Nice Place

On the 21st we rode around the Val dor loop and back to Balbuzard Sauvage, the trails are great and loaded with snow.

On the 22nd we rode from Balbuzard to Kanawata ands the trail from Clova to Club Haltrerparch is still bad, Parent sunk the groomer again, so the road it was, 120 miles of snow covered road that is. once to Casey the trail is again good.

The last day we rode from Kanawata to Chateauvert and then the road to Repo, after that the trail to St Zenon was good.
