2-05-04 Trip from Ste Anne De Beaupre

Pyro Dave and the (original) Crazy Al Gibson left Ste Anne on 1-30-04 Trail 3 to Bae St Catherine was excellent with plenty of snow, the transition down to the ferry and up to Taddusac was a little beat up but not terrible.

Rode to Motel Coronet in Sacre Couer on great trails as well.

Left Sacre Couer on 1-31-04 and rode through Mt Valin over to St Felicein on trail 3,Through Mt Valin the trail was excellent and over the top of Lac st Jean was good to excellent but a little drifty as usual.

Super bowl sunday, Left St felicien very windy with poor visibility and lots of hidden drifts in gray light but no shortage of snow and trails were good considering, only rode to Jonquiere on south side.

1-2-04 Rode from Jonquiere to Manoir Richelieu back through trail 3 Mt Valin, Fresh groomed and hard with excellent conditions except the trek to the ferry through Taddusac.

1-3-04 Rode back to Mt St Anne on Trail 3 from Manoir, Another short day Storm coming and we want to get out 1' expected, The trail was smokin all the way back and there is about 4 feet up in the hills.

All said the trails from Quebec city up to and around Lac St Jean are basically excellent and you can start your trip at Motel Condo Chez Charley in Ste Anne De Beaupre.

They have parking for your truck and trailer and a heated garage, they are very accommodating and the rooms are probably the best value in Quebec.
